Automated Welder – Glenrothes
2020 Recruitment is working with a leading engineering business in Glenrothes who are looking to add an Automated Welder to their team due to continued growth.
This is a great opportunity for a time-served TIG welder looking to step into a more advanced, high-spec environment, with training provided on automated welding systems.
The Role
You’ll be working within a busy manufacturing environment, producing high-integrity components to strict customer and industry standards.
This is precision, quality-driven welding, where attention to detail and consistency are key.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating automated welding equipment (training provided)
- Carrying out TIG welding to high standards (ASME IX)
- Working from detailed procedures and specifications
- Completing weld documentation and ensuring traceability
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- Time-served welder
- Strong TIG (GTAW) welding experience
- Background in Oil & Gas, fabrication, or high-spec engineering
- Experience working to codes/standards and quality procedures
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Right to work in the UK
